Skunk Ape...

If I were assigned a research paper now I feel as I would have more confidence and better luck with my research. Through this tutorial I was shown the many stages in research, some stages that I didn't even know existed until now. I defiantly would feel more comfortable in going and talking to the librarians about a paper or topic I need help gathering information on and I will most certainly use the library web databases. They are full of information and hundreds of articles, books, journals, ect. that I could use for my classes.
I already knew how to manly find sources online and the citing parts of research. Through the summer course and through high school I learned that you need to have a good sense on background information for your topic along with supporting information on it. What I feel I knew but never really took advantages on would be all of the sources that are there for us to use and how little I have used them all in the past.
Three things I did not know until the tutorial:
1: The Library database-I know we went over how to use it in the summer but I feel after going into details about it on this site I have a better idea of its use.
2:Citing Journals/Articles-it explained more on telling the difference between the two.
3: The background knowledge of topics before starting actual research.
Three things I knew before tutorial:
1:The summarizing, paraphrasing, quoting for sources.
2:How to properly cite my sources.
3:Using Date bases, books, journals ect. to find information.
