The life of a wave

The smell of the salty sea air, the wind blowing through my hair, the suns raise shinning down from above, with the sand beneath my feet. I can sea the waves topple over each other one by one. for it’s more rough out this morning then usual. The suns raise are just coming over the horizon making streaks of light through the clouds and over the water top. The sky is bright baby blue on top with a light tint of yellow around the sun. As I look around I hear the waves roll up onto the shore it brings peace to my state of mind. A calm and relaxing feeling takes over me, all the troubles are washed away from me for this moment in time. Just as someone walks along the shoreline and their foot prints get left as they walk. As soon as the next wave comes by those foot prints vanish, as if someone had never even been their. It makes me think of all the rough times I’ve gone through in this past year and that God always gives us second chances. We may not always like the path we get but their is a plan for our lives and I believe that we all chose that path for ourselves. Nobody is perfect and we all make mistakes but with those mistakes we learn a lessons and in those lessons comes life. It’s almost like the life a wave. As the wave starts off small and calm in the distant horizon it builds up with pressure and begins to tower. Once the wave reaches its peak it beings to tumble down. until it crashes against the water or sand it is flattened out again and sucked back into the water for a new beginning. With this scenario it brings me back to the thought of how the oceans waves resemble my life so much. Everyone has times when life is filled with stress and pressure that builds up and eventually crashes. It’s hard when we get to that crashing point but nice to know that we all get flattened out and receive that second chance to start fresh.

Me, Myself and I

My name is Gabby Fisher. I've attended Lake Worth Christian for the past fourteen years and have been an active participant in school activities. From being apart of our sports programs, to student council, to working aftercare and helping out with camps in the summer. I played volleyball, soccer, and tennis, volleyball being my favorite and most active sport. I started to play in elementary and became part of the varsity team in seventh grade. My team advanced to the Final Four my sophomore, junior and senior year. We placed second in all of our appearances. I have enjoyed being apart of my schools student council program these past two years. The thing I enjoy the most is planing the homecoming dance and week activities. Outside of school my favorite activity, besides playing volleyball, would be the beach. I enjoy the sun shinning down with the sea breeze blowing in the wind. If there is ever a weekend that I'm not found at the beach, I would most likely be found at a Disney theme park. My family loves Disney and is known to always have season passes. My favorite traditional Disney character is defiantly Goofy but if I were to choose a princess it would be Ariel. I love the feeling one gets when they arrive to a Disney park that anything could happen, as long as you have faith, trust and pixie dust! In my house we are Disney fanatics, from owning all the movies, visiting the parks every chance we get, to even making Mickey Mouse pancakes in the morning. I love my family and we do everything together. For the past six years my intermediate family and friends have gone cruising to a different places we all have never been too before. Some of them being Hawaii, Mexico, Bahamas, Jamaica, Belize, Costa Rica and the reason I am not with you all now is because we are cruising the Mediterranean! I am looking forward to meeting you all and getting the chance to read all of your blogs!
